Power BI

Power BI is a business analytics service by Microsoft. It aims to provide interactive visualizations and business intelligence capabilities with an interface simple enough for end-users to create their own reports and dashboards.

There are many different types of visualizations available:

1. Area Charts

2. Line Charts

3. Bar Charts

4. Column Charts

5. Combo Charts

6. Pie Charts, and many more.

Firstly we can load the data using many of the options available. The button which is used is “GET DATA”. Here we are importing a downloaded dataset from my local PC. As you get your data you can transform it according to the requirements and then load the same.

You can view your data in tabular form by clicking the Data icon.

Here’s great news! After importing data to your Power BI dashboard it’s quite simple to create actual data visualization dashboard elements.

All you have to do is look at your right-hand Fields panel and check or drag-and-drop the desired field, like in this case No. of confirmed cases, No. of confirmed deaths, etc. onto the Power BI dashboard.

You will now have options to create visualizations as per your convenience like bar graphs and pie charts. You need to drag the data or the features you want into the axis and legend. You can create multiple visualizations and adjust them in a single canvas and if you want can even create a new canvas.

We can even customize the colors and the text written using the paint icon, maps, and globe help to create a perfect visualization of the items distributed in the world.

Congratulations! your dashboard is ready.

Thank you:)
